If you'd like to have a little original background music for your titles, credits, programs, photo slide shows, etc., but you're not a musician, our GarageBand Loops class is for you. Here are some pieces I created that range from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Hope you enjoy them. By the way, I'm offering the next one-session GarageBand Loops on Monday, August 3, 6:30-8:30. It's easy and lots of fun!

Volunteers Needed For LTC's Folk Festival Coverage

The time is yet again upon us to engage in the premiere festival coverage event that LTC is involved in; The Lowell Folk Festival! General information about the festival can be found at http://www.lowellfolkfestival.org/pressroom.html . From Friday July 27th to Sunday July 29th the streets of downtown Lowell will be shut off to automobile traffic and will be transformed into a giant concert venue. LTC is in charge covering the Market St stage, as well as making sure 2 other venues, covered by Lowell High School and Chelmsford Telemedia, make it to the air, live.
We need your help.

LTC is proud to announce coverage of the 11th Southeast Asian Water Festival, Sat Aug 16, 2008. The Lowell Southeast Asian Water Festival, Inc. is dedicated to the preservation, protection and sharing of the cultural heritages of the Southeast Asian Americans of Greater Lowell, Massachusetts area. Every 3rd Saturday in August, more than 60,000 people from around the country and the world come to Lowell to celebrate water as it is celebrated in Southeast Asia. They come for the blessings, food, crafts, performances and (of course) the races.

Eleanor Pye Selected as New LTC Executive Director

Dear LTC Staff, Members & Producers

The LTC Personnel Committee has informed me that they have selected a new Executive Director. Her name is Eleanor Pye and she is currently the Executive Director of North Andover Community Access and Media. Prior to that, she was the ED of Somerville Community Access Television. She holds a BS and an MA in mass communications from Emerson College. In order to give North Andover the required 30 days' notice, she will be commencing work at LTC on or about June 18, 2008.

We look forward to working with Ellie and believe she will be a great fit for LTC.
