LIVE cablecast of License Commission meetings are aired weekly on Thursdays starting at 3:00pm.

Replays are aired at the following times:

Saturdays - 10:00 AM
Sundays - 10:00 AM

LTC Municipal Channel 10 also covers special meetings as designated by the City Manager's Office. Contact the Municipal Director at 978-458-5400.

LTC to Cablecast License Commission Meetings

LTC, Lowell’s community television station and media center will begin airing the Lowell License Commission meetings, following the wishes of City Council at their July 25th meeting. Interest in the agenda items and citizen input at these hearings has grown recently and LTC is happy to work with City Government to again provide this valuable service. License Commission meetings are held every other Thursday and our coverage begins on August 10th at 3pm.

Democratic Lt. Governors Forum

On Sunday, May 21, LTC hosted a debate between four Democratic candidates for Massachusetts lieutenant governor. The forum was cablecast live on Municipal Channel 10, and also streamed from the LTC web site.

Goverment Meetings Now Online

LTC's Municipal Channel 10 has begun on-line streaming of the City's past govermental meetings for those unable to watch the meetings via live cable. Those with a computer can now visit LTC's web site to see recent and past meetings of the City Council, School Committee, Zoning Board and Planning Board.

We plan to archive about six months worth of past meetings at a time, and make them available from our web site. At this point, technology and costs do not allow for live streaming, but we hope to offer this service in the future as well.

As always, LTC makes DVD copies of these meetings available at the Pollard Memorial Library for residents to view, and, of course, the live cablecast of the meetings can be viewed on Channel 10 weekly.

Expanded Municipal Coverage

Tonight our Municipal division begins regular live meeting coverage of the Zoning and Planning board meetings. They will be alternating every other Monday night with replays scattered throughout the week. Muni will also be keeping fairly busy this weekend with coverage of the City's Winterfest activities. Hope to see some of you there!
